Donations in Kind, West Footscray regularly schedules a sea container to Timor Leste. This permits Rotary clubs, other small church groups, local charities and family members to ship smaller quantities of goods for humanitarian purposes.
If your organisation or family group wishes to ship goods, please complete the Shipping Form and send to DIK.
Goods can be lodged at DIK warehouse on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8.00am-2.30pm.
There is a charge of $400 per cubic metre to cover the shipping and transportation costs.
Please adhere to the following packing restrictions:
- All items should be pre-labeled with Sender’s Name and Phone Number and Receiver’s Name and Phone Number
- Boxes are to be securely packed, sealed and labeled. They should not excede 10 kilogrammes per item.
- Goods will NOT be accepted in calico bags or bales.
